Review: June Ipsy Glam Bag

After the May Glam Bag being such a huge success I was eager to receive my second Ipsy bag. June proved to be an equally impressive bag!

Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil
I really enjoyed using this highlighter pencil. I've never used one before, and this one has definitely set my requirements high for any future eyebrow highlighter to beat it. It's smooth, creamy, and blends well without disappearing into my skin.

NYX Mosaic Blush in "Silk"
The first ever NYX product that sent me straight to the store to try other products. This blush is fantastic. It's pigmented but easily blendable. It gives great color and really pulls a look together.

Starlooks Lip Pencil in "Bare"
After my first attempt to use this lip pencil completely failed, I avoided it for the rest of the month. I'm just not a fan of lip pencils or really see the point of them. Plus "Bare" is a very dark nude shade that doesn't work well with my fair complexion.

Cailyn Cosmetics Line-Fix Gel Eyeliner in "Charcoal"
This product completely surprised me. I haven't had good luck with gel liners in the past as they always seem to dry out on me or are dry when I get them. This one is amazing. I love the fact that it's a deep grey color as well. I used the brush that comes with it for a few times, but opted to use one of my Real Techniques brushes instead just out of preference.

J. Cat Beauty Sparkling Cream Palette
Another item that I am just not fond of. These colors are chunky. Literally glitter pieces trying to stick to my poor eyelids. Just not my cup of tea (cuddles neutral palette).

The June bag definitely kept up with May as I really liked three products from each bag. The May bag's other products I liked more than the palette and lip pencil in this bag though. I'm excited to see what July's bag has in store!

xoxo Kayla
