Hair Care Wishlist

My hair has been a top priority for me lately and I've been doing a lot of research on different hair styling products. I have quite the wishlist of products I'd like to try with my new do.

With the Root Boost Spray being such a hit, I'd love to try out the shampoo and conditioner from the same line. If they smell just like the spray I will be in heaven. I have no doubt I'll make up reasons to take another shower just to smell them again.

I have heard about this baby since I started avidly watching beauty videos on YouTube. Beauty gurus are still ranting and raving over this repair masque. It's expensive though, so I'll definitely pick up one of the small travel sized containers or the $15 one that's more than half the size of the large container. I just really want to see what all the hoopla is all about!

I've never really used dry shampoo before because I felt as if with my long hair and bangs that I had to wash my hair daily. My hair got incredibly greasy by the end of the day and I couldn't imagine going two hours into the next day without washing my hair. However now that my hair is shorter, I've been noticing how my hair feels less oily the next morning. So dry shampoo is back on my radar as something I want to explore. I've heard the Batiste brand once or twice and am curious to give it a shot.

When browsing Ulta's website I stumbled upon this "texture taffy" which helps to create beachy waves. I've never been able to accomplish that kind of look before, but have some hope now that my hair is much shorter and easier to work with. If I do end up buying this type of product, I'll probably look for a cheaper alternative.

The hairdresser at the salon I go to used this product on my hair as she was styling it after the big chop. I could really see a noticeable lift to my roots and an increase in volume. I'd love to have this little baby in my collection to see what I can do with it, but the $17 price tag is a little much for such a small container. Who knows, if I find myself with a good coupon or Ulta has a sale, then this little gem will have to come home with me!

What hair care products have you been wanting to try out?

xoxo Kayla
