October Beauty Favorites

This was a pretty slow month on the favorites front. I did copious amounts of shopping and was using a lot of new products near the end of the month, but not long enough to think I could include them in my favorites. However I did bring back some tried and true products this month that I've really been loving.

The first is the St. Ives Naturally Soothing Body Lotion in Oatmeal & Shea Butter. This is the last product I use before going to bed and it's really been helping now that it's getting colder and drier. My elbows are the worst, so this has definitively helped them. The lotion isn't anything special, but it's cheap and get's the job done quickly and without being greasy. I've raved about the Organix Thick and Full Biotin and Collagen Root Boost Spray before in a review, but I tend to go in and out of using hair products. This month I was back into it and this baby was front in center in my hair routine. It's so reliable to add just enough volume to my roots every time I use it. It's subtle, but perfect. I picked up the Revlon Lip Butter in "Juicy Papaya" recently and it hasn't left my handbag since. I'm not someone who has a lot of lip products in my bag at one time, so this is definitely saying something. It's a very natural pink tone that is low maintenance and hydrating on the lips.

I've been keeping my eyes simple this month and the NYX Eye Shadow in "Skinny Dip" is really great to spice up a simple eye with a pop of unique color. I use Skinny Dip on the outside corner of my eyes and it just makes my blue eyes pop! For eyeliner I am still using my one and only love, the Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in "Black Brown". This baby is amazing. It's creamy, inexpensive, and very pigmented. I usually only use it under my eyes, but this month I've been tight-lining my upper lashes and loving the subtle thickness it adds to my lashes. Finally, the Bobbi Brown Corrector in "Light Bisque" has returned to my under eye routine after a brief break. It really helps to even out the color beneath my eyes (which is always purple) and making me look less like a zombie and more like an awake human being.

What products have you been loving in October?

xoxo Kayla
