Feeling Uninspired

For the first time since I started blogging daily back in March, I've been feeling uninspired. It's not that I don't have a ever growing list of blog post topics to blog about, but it's more that I hit a motivational wall and life has been getting in the way big time. I hope no one has noticed! Usually I'm about a week and a half ahead in posts while leaving room to pop in special features here and there if something springs up (like a new release I can't help but snag up). With the past week of graduation activities, evenings full of social activities, a heavier workload at my full-time job, and just a general "meh" I've found my usually impeccable blogging process getting choked up.

I don't want to stop daily blogging though. I downright love it and it brings me so much happiness each and every day to post. So in an effort to get myself back on track I've been working on my lunch periods to take photos and write posts. And you know what? I've been loving it. I love feeling productive and nursing my secretly limping blog back to health. It's in stressful times that you figure out what's important to you and what you want to give attention to.

So although you probably haven't noticed anything different about the blog on your end, I'm back and better than ever!

What do you do when you're feeling uninspired?

xoxo Kayla

  1. Aw such a sweet and honest post. I think we all get moments like this, sometimes life and sheer exhaustion just gets in the way. Your readers will stay loyal. I'm a new one :)

  3. So happy your feeling better about it<3 I LOVE your daily posts! It seems like lunch hour would give you a nice little break from thinking about work even too and then it's done by time you get home and are tired from the long go girl! For me when I start to get uninspired in anything it's all about remembering why I started in the first place. I have to take step back and remember the joy and happiness whatever it is bring. I haven't felt it with blogging yet with it just being a few months but I think going back and reading comments of how I've impacted others would definietly lite the fire again.
