The Spring/Summer Base

I never need an excuse for wearing a dewy base, but for spring and summer it's just a given. I've found myself wearing the same base on most days and thought I'd share with you my go-to products lately.

Starting everything is Stila One Step Correct ($36). I have nothing but great things to say about this stuff. It's light on the skin and sinks in quickly. My face is left feeling like I'm wearing nothing but looking way better. Plus it's such a cool bottle with the three color ribbons. I sort of feel like a mad scientist using it and blending the colors together. I follow that up with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation ($20.94) as it provides the perfect dewy finish on my skin while keeping up with looking like I'm not wearing anything. I've noticed that I really have to make sure this stuff is blended in though as it can sometimes look weird on the skin if I'm in a hurry or don't pay attention while I'm blending.

I cover up my always prevalent dark circles with my NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($29) and any other blemishes that I may have. I've been reaching a lot for the Marcelle Blush in "Coral" ($15.99) and using my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush ($9) to apply the cream blush. It's a really lovely, soft coral shade that provides a nice wash of color without making me look too done up. In just a few steps my face is dewy and ready for the day.

What's your everyday base for spring and summer?

xoxo Kayla
