5 Products Worth Your Money

It's quite obvious due to the nature of this blog that I'm not one to hold back when parting with my money on beauty products. However you may not be the type who wants to dish out loads of cash on new releases and products left and right. So I've gathered the five products that are definitely worth your money.

If you get the right shade (I definitely didn't the first go around) then the NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer ($42) will quickly become your most used base. It's light, but still covers redness and lasts all day. Apply with a brush or fingers (my personal preference) and blend for a flawless finish. Plus the SPF is always a huge bonus.

If you're trying to decide which high end palette to purchase, save about $20 and skip the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and get the Stila in the Light Palette ($39). Ten wearable shades with a couple of mattes thrown in, any look you want is covered. Don't shy away from the blue shade either. It also comes with a eye liner that is fantastic. I wish I had bought this palette long ago. So many wasted dollars on hyped up palettes rather than one that I'll use ever shade in.

For a blush that'll make you want to scrap the rest of your blushes, look not further than the Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blushes ($26). I have the shade "Peaceful" and have to actively convince myself to reach for other blushes. Tarte's blushes are buttery, blend into the skin well, and last longer than any other blush I've tried. Their color range is fantastic so you'll be sure to find a shade you can't live without.

Nothing kicks my dark circles like the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer ($29). No other concealer has lasted as long as this one either so you get a lot of bang for your buck. It's smooth, blends effortless, and covers what you want to be covered. The shade range is awesome as well.

Finally if you're going to spend some money on a lipstick, the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks ($26) deserve your attention. The lipstick pictured is in the shade "Rush" and I reach for it often. These lipsticks are thick, in a good way. They're moisturizing, pigmented, and dry into more of a stain/balm than a lipstick. The color range is extensive and their names give me an odd satisfaction. The packaging is sleek and incredibly unique. These check every box.

So if you're feeling a little spendy but want to buy quality products, these five are definitely worth your money.

xoxo Kayla

  1. I definitely agree about the NARS concealer - it's really lovely and great for brightening up dark circles. But I have yet to try the Revolution lipsticks, will swatch next time I'm in a Sephora.

  3. Yessss, I love the tarte blushes! I have one I exposed and I have another shade coming in soon. I've been using mine for 2 or 3 months and it looks like I just got it. Love the nars concealer as well, I was so surprised how easy it was to use with the coverage!

  6. Totally agree with the Stila palette - every time I use it I keep thinking that I should have bought it ages ago! I might even need to repurchase it once I use it up - and that is gonna happen, I'm pretty sure of it x

  7. I finally bought the NARS concealer and I love it... It's just better than any concealer I've ever used! xx
