This Week's Most Loved #60

Favorite makeup products

This weather can stop now. Today it's a warm 8 degrees. The joy. So I'm definitely not loving the weather, but my favorites this week weren't hard to figure out as I was sitting down to write this post. So let's get into it while crossing all fingers and toes that warmer weather is coming.

I feel like a broken record about the NYX Contour and Highlight Pro Palette, but it's just that good. I finally feel like I'm starting to understand contouring! I've added this to my makeup routine when I have a few extra minutes to spare in the mornings or nights out. The Real Technique Contour Brush is the perfect thing to really get into the hallows of the cheeks and blend out the product. Seriously guys, give the palette a go.

With filming a lot of planner videos on my YouTube channel lately (like this one or this one), I've started painting my nails again as that's the only part of my you see. My collection is mostly made up of Essie polishes so I've been going through a lot of different colors. My favorites have been "Mojito Madness," "Splash of Grenadine" and "Mamba" (left to right).

I feel like I've mentioned this already, but my skin has never been as dry as it has this winter. Think desert. I've tried all the lotions and creams in my collection and have found that The Body Shop's Hemp Hand Protector works great not just on the hands. It's quite a thick product so extra sink in time is needed, but at least I've found some relief. I want to use this up so I can get the almond version as I'm not crazy about the hemp smell, but the product itself is astounding.

What products have you been loving this week? What's the temperature like where you live?

xoxo Kayla

  4. Mojito Madness is my go-to lately! I think it's mostly because its the same shade as this plastic chair my grandparents have had since the 50s, so cute! <3
