A Few of My [Current] Favorite Things

A middle of the month check-in to show you what I've been loving since the ball dropped. It's all products to make my life easier and to let me reach new lazy heights.

After the Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette came into my life it became almost a mad necessity to complete my collection with the Naked 2 Palette. I didn't want it originally because of its cool toned nature, but now that's what I love about it most. I've completely transitioned from loving warm to being all about cool shades. The shades are of course pigmented and perfect and I'm one happy camper to own all of them.

A new hairstyle has come into my life lately and the Garnier Fructis Anti-Humidity Hairspray definitely helps perfect the look. Although it's the strongest strength formula, my hair doesn't feel crunchy and has nice bounce throughout the day. Yet it still manages to retain shape and hold. Plus it smells great which is always a bonus.

I've been diving deep into the depths of the face primer world of Make Up For Ever these days. My favorite from the long line up has to be the hydrating primer. It's not too thick yet packs some serious hydration. I like my primers to double as a lazy girl's moisturizer and this one does the trick. It sinks into the skin nicely while working well on its own or with the Stila One Step Correct. There's a post in the works that'll go even deeper into face primers so stay tuned!

It's a downright obsession over the Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in "Rush." I've been using it every day like a religion and the love affair is getting pretty serious. You have to give this line a shot. It's divine.

From the depths of my makeup drawer emerged this NYX Contour Palette I picked up many months ago. Although I'm not really using it for contouring anymore, the yellow-est shade has become the best for setting my under eye concealer. It helps cancel out any remaining purple tones and boosts the lasting power of my concealer. It's working wonders and I really need to find it in a smaller, travel friendly size.

What products have you been loving lately?

xoxo Kayla
