Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks

Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipsticks

Bite Beauty teamed up with Influenster and both were so kind to send me some of the yet-to-be-released Amuse Bouche Lipsticks for testing. I hadn't tried Bite Beauty yet as I knew I definitely do not need another lipstick brand to fawn over, and they really are quite good.

Right off the bat let's address the scent/taste. I personally rather have my lipsticks smell and taste like absolutely nothing than risk adding a flavor to them and Bite definitely toes the line with these. They a citrus/lemon scent and are quite pungent when first put on the lips, but fade away to nothing in a few minutes. If the smell lingered I could not get along with these so I'm thankful that it's just the initial application as they're great lipsticks other than that.

As for application they remind me a lot of the Urban Decay Revolution Lipsticks; thick coverage in the best way with a long lasting finish. They're hydrating and stay put on the lips despite being more obvious and never flatting down to a matte finish. "Pepper" is an obvious favorite as it so closely resembles MAC's "Syrup." It's a bit more purple while still being wearable every day. "Gazpacho" is the red shade which I'm still working with to get the application right. I tend to need lip liners for darker shades as I'm a hot mess when applying. "Beetroot" is the darker berry that'll take some motivating to wear out of the house. It's not super dark, but I'm just a dark lip chicken through and through.

The color range on Sephora looks like it's going to be seriously impressive and I may pick up a few more "me" shades once the line is officially launched. I love everything about them except for the scent and I'm sure I'm a party of few with that complaint. Be sure to check these out when they launch as they're going to be quite the hit.

What do you think of Bite Beauty?

xoxo Kayla
